Born and raised in Seattle, I grew up with creativity always a part of my life. After college I lived with my best friends in Greenlake, Ballard and Fremont. Some extra time at home during the covid lockdown led to Pets on Sweats, 2 puppies and a very supportive roommate and best friend AKA shop manager.
With the 2019 lockdowns still in action, I spent many evenings teaching myself to make clay earrings, custom ceramics, doormats, writing calligraphy, sewing.. This quickly turned from me making gifts for my friends to starting an etsy shop. I learned what worked and what needed to fail fast, leveraging my marketing background and scrappy hustle!
My memories of this time include new puppies chasing each other around the kitchen me cursing at my printer and Sydney pouring me a large glass of pinot.
In 2020 Steve and I decided to take advantage of remote work and travel across the country. We drove through Telluride, Mammoth, Taos, Park City, Boulder, Steamboat Springs, Whitefish, all with my sewing machine and dog in tow. Many post offices were visited in these towns, especially during the Holiday season.
In 2022 the beach was calling us and we packed up and moved to San Diego!
I have full time job-that I love-working as a fundraiser for the local children’s hospital. When I’m not at my embroidery machine, you can find me at the beach, camping, running, reading, practicing yoga, volunteering, playing beach volleyball or just hanging out with my dog.
